How we write our articles
We build Bookable with GP surgeries across England, so we hear every day where people get stuck: which form to fill in, whether they need ID, what to do when there are no appointments left. Our articles are here to get you unstuck.
Every article we publish:
- is based on NHS guidance
- is reviewed by an NHS GP on our team
- is written in plain English, so you get the answer without the jargon
- shows when it was last updated, so you know it is still right

Who we are
Raj Kohli
Co-founder and CEO
Raj co-founded Healthtech-1, the company behind Bookable. His parents run GP surgeries in east London, where he is also Patient Experience Lead. He is an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, and worked on process automation at Accenture before Healthtech-1.

Pete Huang
Co-founder and Chair
Pete co-founded Healthtech-1 with Raj, his childhood best friend, and wrote much of the original product. He was a software engineer at Monzo before that, and is an NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow.

Dr Lydia van Hamel-Parsons
Founding Clinician
Lydia is an NHS GP and Healthtech-1's founding clinician. She reviews the health information in our articles. Before Healthtech-1, she was a clinical lead at Accurx.
